Nyanaciek Padiet Awol has been working at The Roots Project in Juba since 2013. She was born in 1976 in Duk payam, Jonglei State and learned crafts such as milaya embroidery from her mother. Currently, she is a supervisor at Roots, overseeing the production of beadwork. Nyanaciek facilitated the Story Circles on beadwork and milaya embroidery.
